24노아가 술이 깨어 그 작은 아들이 자기에게 행한 일을 알고 25이에 가로되 가나안은 저주를 받아 그 형제의 종들의 종이 되기를 원하노라 26또 가로되 셈의 하나님 여호와를 찬송하리로다 가나안은 셈의 종이 되고 27하나님이 야벳을 창대케 하사 셈의 장막에 거하게 하시고 가나안은 그의 종이 되게 하시기를 원하노라 하였더라

24When Noah awoke from his wine and found out what his youngest son had done to him, 25he said, “Cursed be Canaan! The lowest of slaves will he be to his brothers.” 26He also said, “Praise be to the Lord, the God of Shem! May Canaan be the slave of Shem. 27May God extend Japheth’s territory; may Japheth live in the tents of Shem, and may Canaan be the slave of Japheth.”
